Here is a re-issue of our beginning story from the 1yr birthday post:

TucsonMTB was started on July 18th, 2007 very late at night.  It was born from the typings on two laptops with beers in hand while in a living room of a friends house in North Carolina who happened to have a server farm.  Prior to that it was conceived late at night with beers in hand while talking to a friend in a garage in Tucson about the desire to reach more fellow Tucson MTBers.   The name TucsonMTB was the first choice, and with luck it was available!  It was paid for later that night after the beers were gone and inhibitions at their lowest.   With the exchange of legal tender we were committed, no chance to pull out now.

Thanks to the extended family of TucsonMTB for making it such a fun and hoppy place!
