TucsonMTB was started on July 18th, 2007 very late at night.  It was born from the typings on two laptops with beers in hand while in a living room of a friends house in North Carolina who happened to have a server farm.  Prior to that it was conceived late at night with beers in hand while talking to a friend in a garage in Tucson about the desire to reach more fellow Tucson MTBers.   The name TucsonMTB was the first choice, and with luck it was available!  It was paid for later that night after the beers were gone and inhibitions at their lowest.   With the exchange of legal tender we were committed, no chance to pull out now.

Now look at it!  1yr old and already riding and chatting up a storm with nearly 200 members.  So cute and adorable, and growing so fast!  Now we just need to work on that smell of dirty chamios....
